The Keys Academy Trust

"We are a family of distinctive schools at the heart of the diverse communities we serve.  In line with our Christian ethos, we aspire to excellent learning and pastoral care for pupils and staff and are committed to being open and welcoming to all."

On 1 September 2017, The Coombes Church of England Primary School became part of The Keys Academy Trust. The Keys Academy Trust, are primary specialists and who ensure that the lead professionals within each school can focus on their core purpose of educating children.

They believe that each academy should be unique and distinctive. They are committed to providing the very best educational experiences for pupils and staff so that the family of academies are recognised as centres of academic and pastoral excellence at the heart of the communities they serve.

The Chief Executive Officer, Hester Wooller, believes that what sets the Trust apart from others is that it recognises that each school within the Trust is unique and distinctive, and we are committed to celebrating the local context and purpose of each.

Life within The Keys Academy Trust invites collaboration across schools, formation of alliances, negotiation of differences for the common good so that schools within the Trust can give their children the very best start in life. We are a family of schools that support each other and share best practice.

We have a strong partnership established with the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education and schools within our Trust benefit from a wide range of support services.

The underlying values in our Church of England multi academy trust are well suited to the diversity in our schools today and we believe the establishment of The Keys Academy Trust is an opportunity to improve and collaborate with existing schools and to found new ones.
